Gsi Conversion/distributor

My car turns over but just dosent fire up. there is petrol coming through (trust me) and all the components seem to be in order.

A couple of guys on dixons seem to think this could be down to my distributor not firing correctly, does this sound right?

Could that have anything to do with it being stood up for a while?

how long it been stood,probley the leads,they on the right place on the dizzY and on the engine?
but thought it be the leads

i thought about the leads but they seem very good and if it was them i thought it would just be rough but there is literally no kick there at all.

have ya checked spark?
also modules do stop working with no warning.
check the rotor inside the dizzy.
What exact engine is it and are you after fitting it?

its a X16 XEL astra sport engine and its going into a 92 GSi.

The immobilser has been removed from the ECU and everything else seems to be ok, although got some spare wires :roll: but there not the starter/pump or anything major

well bud im not sure wots da story wit wiring in that engine so any1 else got any input? :?
