Ive got this idea for my nova. I am saving up for a kit (abyss) and am wondering if this would look good. The idea is to have the bumpers, skirts, wing mirrors, spoiler and grill in black with the rest of the car in silver. Do u think this would look good or not? Cheers:D

Go for it. Would look alright depending on the shade of black/silver. Though it definitely won't be everyone's cup of tea.
I myself have been thinking of a two tone car (blue and silver). Or maybe just a bright blue car with a pure white roof, wing mirrors and roof tip spoiler (and white powder coated alloys). But then again i may just go for a metalflake or a flip. Or none of those.
Or a straight blue car with a blue chromaflair bit where the black vinyl strips are normally found on the sides of SR's and stuff.
<----- can't decide on anything.

Try to mock-up a picture of how it will look like on the computer. Scan in a picture of a similar car/how you wan't yours to look like, and try out the colour ideas in something like Photoshop.
I agree witht he guyz above.. can't picture it looking too great, but possibly just do the bumpers, spoilers and mirrors in silver and the rest of the car and kit black.... but it's all down to personal taste.... i'm doing a big red, gold green V across the front of mine which some people will say looks ridiculous... personally i think it's gonna look cool..... might do a huge green cannabis leaf on the bonnet as well !!

well look on the bright side no one gonna nick it coz it look so sh**
Mate its your car so do with it what you want, it takes a long time to make the car perfect so if you have an idea, go for it. You never know you could be in Max power and the idle of thousands of spotty teenagers.

cant picture it working it would look like u could afford the kit but not to spray it,however i reckon if u spray the car black with a cheeky silver flip u would pull it off,i would say go 4 it the way u said but if it dont look right 2 re-sprays r more expensive than one

yeh it could end up looking like i couldnt afford the proper job, though some of ur ideas sound pretty awsome, thanx for the advice n stuff. I am still puzzled though  :?: .
Front & rear bumpers in silver and mirrors & spoiler (if ya got one)
and leave skirts and shell the same?
i cant imagine in my mind wot it will look like......but i keep gettin glimpses :D
Sorry just read that and it doesnt make a lot of sense!
In black have the main body and skirts
In silver have the front and back bumpers wing mirrors and spoiler
In other words... what i said above  !! hehehe !
Is it ? soz
Read it all v.quicky

If you must have the bumpers a different colour to the car, keep them black or grey etc, though keep the rest (car, spoiler, side-skirts, wing mirrors) the same colour (any colour you want). Silver bumpers look tacky, in my opinion, when the rest of the car is not silver.
Also, the kit is fibreglass and therefore even if everypart on the car is painted in a different colour it won't look like you couldn't afford to get it all painted. It will just look cack. :D
