View Full Version : No Wiring For Rev Counter

want to fit my 6 dial gsi clocks but when i fitted them the rev counter didnt work dont think i have the green wire. has someone got a step by step on how to make a wire for them to work? cheers ian

its just a wire from the -V side of the coil on my t40'd gte engine

I wired up a standalone rev counter last week, there should be 4 pins on the coil, and the empty-vacant one (bottom left?) should provide signal for the rev counter. I had to wire the illumination/earth/live etc but you probabaly only need the signal. Good luck.

From what year is your nova? In some models the green wire is already near the clocks. Have a look at the loom, and if your lucky it's taped in about 3inches from the connector.
