How many is there? obviously the opel/vauxhall one i wasnt aware there was more than one.

A treffen is a rally/meeting.

So almost any organisation from rubber duck enthusiasts to model railway builders could have a treffen.

Find the club(s) you are thinking of & search it up on the net.

I went to one in Hasselt in Belgium, back in 2002. That was the Corsa club one (club name escapes me)... Corsa club of belgium. Fist weekend in May IIRC.

13th Oschersleben Opel Meet has extra highlights and a new competition in store for you

From 29 May to 1 June 2008 the Motorsport Arena will once more become the 'town of lightning'. Yet again, we are expecting over 50 000 visitors from all over Europe. We've got a broad spectrum of extra highlights and a new competition in store for you in line with the slogan "foot to the floor again!" We have spared neither cost nor effort to make the 13th Oschersleben Opel Meet as pleasant and attractive as possible. Here's an overview of the highlights:
The 2008 highlights:

* NEW! Hella Light Contest - Hella and the Oschersleben Opel Meet are looking for the quickest mechanic in the Opel scene
* 1/8 mile sprint - the ultimate power contest on the start/finish straights
* Burnout competition - here the fun-factor goes sky-high
* Public race - co-driving on the track
* Show & Shine - Europe's best vehicles in the eye of the beholder
* Drift challenge - a star-studded jury evaluate you racing round corners, tilting spectacularly and making those wheels squeal
* Firework display
* "Miss Opel 2008" election - powered by Friedrich Motorsport
* EMMA Car + Sound and EMMA racing - competitions by the worldwide Sound-Contest Organisers EMMA (European mobile media association), who are looking for the perfect car with the most cleverly designed competitive concept in Sound & Tuning
* 8th Vintage Opel Meet with the traditional B?rdeland rally
* Tradefair - everything that makes Opel even more noble and handsome
* 4-day party in 2 festival tents - "B-Kadett" will be rocking live on stage on 31 May, festival tent 1
* Live4u-Radio - the event radio 93.7 VHF

Tradition insists: 8th Vintage Opel Meet

Far away from the thumping beats, low suspensions and exhaust-tuning, we invite lovers of historic vehicles to Oschersleben once again in 2008. This is already the 8th parallel Vintage Opel Meet: in 2007 a proud 44 old-timers were welcomed to the separate exhibition space. The highpoint of the meet is the so-called B?rdeland rally. In this display-journey, the historic R?sselsheimers travel through the B?rdekreis district and never fail to inspire plenty of photos. All historic Opels built before 1978 are eligible.
"Safety first" - a campaign by Opel fans!

The campaign "Safety first" - a campaign for greater safety during the event - was a great success last year, thanks to your support. So we've decided to continue the "Safety first" campaign this year.

We're looking forward to a full house in Oschersleben at the end of May, lots of fun, plenty of tuning-talk and above all nice weather.
