hi everbody i have a problem my nova is 1.2 merit but is the gsi replica but has the 1.8 16v ecotec from a 93 astra gsi.the suspension on the front is too soft when you take a corner at speed the tyres catch the front arches badly i need stronger springs that make the front sit higher but i cant lower it as it has 16 inch irmscher sofstars could any 1 advise me on this problem?:cry:

yes its standard suspension the back ends fine thats lowerd 40mm its just the front wot needs to to sit higher if thats poss?

if its std suspension, your going to get loads of 'bounce',

even a set of uprated lowing springs would help
even ****ty spax will do

but if your on a budget but the spax or apex kit for about ?200 you will be able to go 60mm as it will be rock solid, alltho it all depends on the offset of your alloys and tyres sizes

i dint want to lower the front just maybe swap the springs and shocks for standard gsi/gte ones as they are probly a higher poundage and stiffer the tyre sizes are 195 45 16 the offset is 49

lowering the car wil make it handle better, even if you lower it 40, it will be alot stiffer and wont catch..

if your going to very std look, phone coil spring see if they can make you a stiff std spring lol
