A few new pics of the nova

Nice weather today, (well the sun was out anyway!) so I thought i'd take a few pics of the beast, let me know what you think.

What engine you running? I'm interested by the rear sticker, front brakes & the way its sitting.

2.0 SEH, yep the rear sticker is the only hint, ive gone for the original/ beaten up look with this one.

Front is far too low, its a 60mm drop but on 1.2 springs and it doesnt do speed bumps too well! lol

Got my new bilstein kit to go on soon so the front will be back to a more normal 35mm drop.

There is when the car gets scared everytime you go near a speed bump! lol

you need to stiffen it up then. mines lower but doesnt get scared by speed humps. just kinda bounces over them

Wanted to take the pics under the bridge to give it the dinjy kinda look, plus it was too bright to get any decent pics with my crappy camera.

The idea is with it looking so nasty that its more annoying for saxo/ beemer drivers when you leave them for dead. lol

Havent got the money to sort the white one, and this one may look dodgy but the underneath is like new as are all the 'usual' places.

Like it needs a bit of duck tape hear and there and some cracks in the lights

Get the front struts made up tomorrow so it will be at a more normal height,

Also thinking of nicking the snowplough off the white one and painting up the door bottoms with some cheap matt grey paint on a roller.

I want to keep it looking dodgy but the black along the sills doesnt sit right with me.

Other than that it just needs some decent front pads and i'll be happy. :D

Liking the Nova steve,heard it goes well too will have to see it again in the flesh sometime.

Tarten up the spots here and there,complete the vinyl and get the wheels resprayed in anthrecite i reckon your onto a winner !

Are you mates with dave and jack? might have seen you at our mini meet last night if so.

Its not actually vinyl on the bottom though, both sills had a plate welded before I bought it and they just put some underseal like stuff other it, I think matt grey over it would suit it.

Had my mate dave build up the front struts today with my new 2.0 courtenay springs so i'll swap them over when I get a minute, that will also mean that my gmax 60mm kit will be up for sale soon. :thumb:

I can see the theme your going for, But it doesnt have to look a state and "un-mint" to suprise people. Just fairly clean will still give people the same gesture !
