well today was a bit of a kick in the nuts got my scissor jack out and was goin to take off my wheel as the tyre was punctured only to ( only was i can describe it as is standing on a crisp ) sound and my sill crunched i take it this is a severe mot failure will post a piccy asap .

I always use a trolley jack under the rear axle, or under the "ribbed" bit, just inboard of the sills behind the front arches. I put axle stands under the rear axle either side, or under the front chassis legs next to the TCA mounts.

i know im just young dumb and full of cum , lol no in all seriousness whats the best way to adress the issue ? shall i just get a wire wheel thingy on the end of my drill and scrub back the metal and weld or cut it off and weld a plate ? i have my own stick welder but im not confident with it i dont want holes burnt in my car and to butcher the side of it . nath

id buy a new sill panel. they are only ?15 then you can use as much as you want to repair it properly

dont look too bad mate the best way to sort this out is cut all the rot i mean all of it even if the inner sill has gone as well then replace this with some metal maybe a old door skin any metal the same thickness shape it up then weld your new bit in.or if you wanta bodge cut bit out weld bit in then side skirts not recomended :p
