Transporting a car............

without sounding stupid, have you thought of renting a transporter? i found a company renting out at ?40 a day. only problem was i dont have a 7.5t license to drive the damn thing

Car is not legal.

Have looked at hiring but so far most have been very expensive, got a few more to try though.

If you do hire a vehicle Andy, make sure its maximum unlaiden weight is no more then 3.5tonne as you can legally drive it on your car license.

On another note, your car license will only cover you to tow a laiden trailer with a mass no more of 750kg IIRC unless your license states otherwise (theyll be a little picture on the back of it of a car and trailer combined!)

^I got told this by a copper when i got pulled in a Vito towing a pair mobile traffic lights on a trailer lol
