is there any kind of reducer valve that can be put in line to reduce the rear braking power when discs are fitted?
I know a bias controller would prob be the most obvious solution.
the rear discs look the job but until i get savage front land grabbers the back need to be tamed a little!
Cheers for any ideas lads.

because the lines would have to reworked to suit a controller and i want to kno if there is a handier way

You could try what kit car builders do and make one.

Here is the link http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/dvandrews/bpvalve.htm

Hope it helps

i`ve actually made one of them valves up, for a kit car i had and they work fine and it costs peanuts.

what brakes you got front and back? cos if you have astra front and rear, just slap some 256mm ones on the front and should be able to slam brakes on without back locking up.

i have Astra discs front and back Neil :| . i just pressumed the back of a nova is a bit too light for discs without reducing some of the pressure :?

i had same problem on my old nova. But when i put some bigger discs on front (256mm as oppose to 210) then they balanced out pretty well. But danced around a bit under braking but controllable

its the master cylinder from a 1.2! and braking power doesn't seem much different to that of gte's etc. is there a master cylinder that i should be using?
might try bigger front discs too. :|
