I was told that rear axles from an Astra MK II will fit a nova. The reason being is that axle is stronger.

Anyone know if this is the case?

Doubt it, im sure the rear track of a Mk2 Astra is wider to that of a Nova. That alone will pose instant problems.

On another note, road cars have no use for strengthened rear beams..... and then it begs the qeustion of...who tested it to see if it is stronger & how :thumb:

yeah I thought they astra would have been wider.

its for a rally car anyway. So strengthened is the way to go. Believe me, it will scare you to drive a car with a bent axle at high speed.
