Hi Guys

Finally getting my **** in gear!!!

Right planning on buying an XE asap seen a K reg Cav near me at ?400 with 121000 on the clock??? or might be buying an XE off MATTHEW172 off here.

Planning on doing a neat tidy job so was wondering if possible to create a plug and play loom?

what i mean is can i wire a nova GTE loom plug with the Xe wiring and then just plug in and away we go???

An xe loom and ecu was made to sit near the drivers feet, with the loom through the bulkhead.

You can make it plug and play in the footwell by cutting some plugs off the CAR side of a xe car loom to match the plugs on the engine loom.

So you can unplug, and remove the whole engine loom, incase it ever gets damaged or something.

In the original car yeah.
But usually your hard wire the xe loom into the car loom(solder/crimps)
So its not removeable without cutting.

The plugs that join the engine and car loom are usually just above the servo / mc near the bulkhead, cant see why you still cant use these, no need to permanently join the 2 together.
