1600 T40 Insurance

Basically, at the moment Flux have been charging me around ?900 a year for a Engine converted base model which is now fitted with an E16SE T40, probably producing around 130hp which is a insurance friendly estimate :)

Now i'm wanting to insure it again, and i'm going to ring HIC.

Basically, last time i rang them and told them about my ?900 flux qoute they basically came back and gave me the same qoute as flux. (seeing as they are sister companies). ?900 was OK when i was 19yr old...

I'm 21.5 (lol) been driving for 4 years now. I've got 2 or prehaps 3 NCB on my nova. Clean liscence, top postcode. Parked in a private driveway.

I'm going to say it's approx 130hp.

What is everyone else paying ? i know adam is paying alot less than ?900 for something which is very similar.

Should i mention i do trackdays ?

i doubt it'll matter whether you mention that you do trackdays or not, you're insurance wont neccessarily cover you for them anyway. competition insurance will. my mate asked flux the same thing for his road rally car and they didnt... has to take out competion insurance for each event.
