1.0, 45bhp/50lbft.
1.2, 55bhp/65lbft. 740Kg saloon, 735Kg hatch. 94mph
1.2spi, 45bhp/63lbft.
1.3, 70bhp/75lbft. 775Kg SR, (750Kg saloon), 0-60mph: 11.7s, 103mph
1.4, 72bhp/79lbft. 780Kg (803Kg saloon), 0-62mph: 12s, 104mph
1.4spi, 60bhp/72lbft.
1.4mpi, 82bhp/84lbft.
1.6mpi, 100bhp/99lbft. 820kg, 0-60: 9.1s, 117mph.

1.4 for some reason has the saloon quoted as 10.2 0-60 and 99mph top, although that could be with a different gearbox.

I've got all this in an uber-nerdy nova guide which I never got round to reposting (original nova guide got lost in the forum upgrade a couple years back) but I can't find it at the mo.

so there is only 5kg difference between the hatch and the saloon? or does that depend on the spec?

ermmm what tvr lol?

well when i came with a mate to find out some stuff he could do to his corsa b, walst talking to staff we watched a video of a corsa racing a tvr on a phone. i think this was before you spec'd up too 400+, because the car was on the ramp. anyways the story was this red corsa raced with a mod'd tvr with " nos " if i remenber he beat the corsa in the last 100m's of the strip ?

this was probably over a year ago, so its not realy rellivent if it helps lol i was with a " big " lad in a crap 1.2 corsa b ( no offence to anyone ) .

was the purple tvr thats on the cover of the RWYB slips holder thing. From what the guy was saying he had done quick a bit of engine work to it. Was a cerbera from what I can remember which really arent slow. If it was a 450m race I would have had it as he full on nailed me off the line as expected lol.

Depends on the spec, although like-for-like a saloon will only be about 5kgs heavier than a hatch. Tailgates are heavy things you know ;)

You mean did they have a Saloon SR and SRi? No, thats why I said "like for like" between hatches and saloons, as the saloons didn't have some of the special models in their line up ;)

ok now you said some of, what line up wear there?

Dunno about all of them but pretty much anything that came on a 1.0/1.2/1.3 you'd find on a saloon. Think along the lines of Luxe, Merit, Expression, Dart, L, GL, Trip, Swing, Star, Fun, Pearl (possibly Diamond too but I could be confusing that with the Pearl one) ...

Main ones that didn't were SR, SRi, GTE/GSi, Sport, then your other oddities like sola and the spider etc. Hutchinsons cabs were mostly saloons iirc although I'm sure they did a handful of hatchbacks too.
