Hi there,

I drive a 1.2 carb nova and its ran great since i bought it 3 months ago

but last nite it fcuked up.

At low revs it seems to be starving for fuel and theres a point where there is no power going to the engine at all even with the pedal in about a quarter.

Its ok flat out its just at slow speeds and low revs. Have you guys any ideas??

look at the dizzy
the weights go loose and give funny running on low/mid throttle

clean out carb jets / carb

The diizy is fine, replaced the rotar arm as there was not contact left on it, i was lucky the roads were empty going to work today flat out the whole way, if you go below 40 its junps and starves itself.

I'm gonna clean the carb tonight to see if'll make a difference.

If you find it also does it pulling away (splutters then comes to life) it'll be the carb - wither the jet is blocked or your idle/mix settings are wrong.

Run some redex through a tank of petrol and if you can try a few tanks of shell optimax.
