Some FACTS for how low a Nova rear can go on 15 " Alloys with 195/45/15 tyres - assuming you run standard rear inner arches
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v516/fearlessmotorsport/9206024.jpg
and how can I back up this claim I hear you all ask
Well if you were to remove the inner rear arch to see how much travel you had left - you would see this
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v516/fearlessmotorsport/9206029.jpg
It's impossible to lower the rear any more without cutting out the rear inner arches and fabricating new inner arches   :thumb:

I too would like to see some pics aamir as if I recall correctly you were running allesios? Mine is approximately lowered around 80mm using leda coilovers on the front with camber adjustment bolts and a spax setup on the rear with raised stub axles..... running allesios I know I cannot lower the car any further at the rear without any inner arch surgery and the front wings even after folding the lip could still do with flaring slightly but to be honest I dont think I'd want to as you feel every bump in the road as it is! Would be nice to see some pics especially If your still using allesios and to hear how you have achieved the above claims. :thumb:

Not a big block nova, but NDZ 1331 ran silly low at the start.
After this ring trip and TV photoshoot, on the way home Karl rang me to say smoke was coming out of my wheelarches. After getting home, part of the inner arches was mirror polished by the tyres lol. I quickly installed the spring adjusters to raise it up a bit.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v37/keithrobinson/low444.jpg
Still have those springs, but i'll keep using the adjusters to keep the turbo nova a little higher. Even tho i'm down to 40 profile tyres now too.

Yes mine is a lot lower than in pics, was 60mm on front & 80 on rear.
Since fitting coillies it was hard to tell how low the car is, my cuz just bought a merit plus, so i measured the distance from the top of both arches (highest point) to ground level & calculated the difference.
Craig's looks low, get ur tape out mate lol
lol

My oil pan is 5cm off the ground, exhaust manifold is 2.5cm  (& a basteward 2 drive)
Aamir... i love your nova
These arnt bigblocks but still pretty low
think they was 80mm springs, had to use a scissor jack to get it up a littel bit so i could fit my trolly jack under..

i'm rebuilding my nova now, and i'll go for a calibra gear mechanism, the nova one really sucks with that thing in the exhaust tunnel. so remove that, the exhaust higher in the tunnel.. and my nova lower:D

you need a saloon to go proper low. mine is 120mm front and back well its probably only 100 with the comps on the front but still got about an inch of adjustment
you need a small block if you want really low lol but a slammed saloon is great.
if i go for weber conversion, there will be a saloon as daily drive.
yes mine is still a small block

exhaust systems being close to the floor is abit cheating imo as there are so many different designs of them. i prefere to go by front panel height. im at the stage even with the 16's that i cant get to close to curbs. i shall be putting the 13's back on tomoz. then we will see proper low
just found this pic of my old TD lol dont ask me how low it was as i dont actually know. all i do know is i had no suspension and 40 rolls of turf in the poor thing

nova on 19's! caught the wing on the front and the shock housing on the rear...but this is on a 60mm drop maybe more can't remember! looked gay and had the wheels from me cav so thought i may see what they are like on nova!
