Hello!

I thought I would stick my car on here before it goes onto the wonderful world of auto trader.

It's a lovely light metallic blue 1991 1.2 Nova merit with 50,000 on the clock.

For the first 16 years it was owned by my nans next-door neighbour, fully serviced and kept in a locked garage. When I got this car I was quite amazed at the condition it was in.
I was given it when he died last Christmas with I think around 39,000 miles on it. I used it as my daily car and it did me well on an 800 mile trip to Scotland and back...all in one day!
It has been without doubt the greatest car I have ever owned, it has NEVER ever let me down and its ability to sip on fuel has proved increasingly advantageous since the fuel price rises took hold.
I love this car with all my heart, I love how you can put 20 quid in and the fuel gauge goes right up and over the half way mark, how it ALWAYS starts and how nothing ever seems to go wrong with it.

The interior is the light grey one along with the light grey dash; it is in good condition for a car of this age with only some slight wear on the drivers bolster (I?m fat)

The exterior is also in good condition with no rust and very few dents. It also has the tri spoke alloys to give it some character.

The engine runs sweet as a nut, it is the manual choke version which took some getting used to but now is perfect, this engine starts no matter what the weather.

The only bad points I can think of with this car is the drivers door was bent out by some scummy thief?s about 9 month ago. They pushed the window down and for some reason ripped the door rubber out of the window frame. They then broke the steering wheel cowling off and tried to hot wire the car?Obviously they were the kind of scummy thief?s you see on daytime television as they were unable to steal what has to be the easiest to steal car in the world.
This wasn?t recorded on the insurance, I just bent the door back in and away I went haha!

The car comes with a full service history to back up the mileage, 6 months MOT

In the past year since I have owned it has had 4 new tyres, a new section of exhaust a service and a new battery.

This car is perfect for a 2.0 project as there is no body rust whatsoever.

I am selling it because I have recently (and foolishly) bought a corrado VR6 and need the money to fill it up with fuel.

If your interested please contact me on 07951351000?if you can?t get hold of me leave a message and I will get back to you.
The asking price is ?400 OVNO

Cheers lads.

I'll put some pictures up as soon as it has stopped raining!

Hi,

Got the photo, I'll put it up when I get home (damn work computer blocks any downloading/uploading)

Yes, its a Mk2 but need some more pictures!

Common problem areas to capture are:

-Battery tray
-Sills
-Rear arches
-Inside boot corners
-Behind front suspension top mounts
-Engine bay
-Interior
