Ok i posted a thread the other night explaining how my mate whos a v-dub freak had argued with me for a good while saying his wheels where volkswagon wheels , when in fact they were cesaros , now jack had been saying about the wheels not fitting on the sh1trocco because the hub on them are different , can someone please back me up on this as i've a tenner on this that they are in fact GM wheels :thumb: . it was pretty cold and i wasn't prepared to jack up that heap and look did volkswagon even produce anything remotely close to that style of wheel , o yes j4mes he wants 100 quid for them and all 4 tyres would need changing im not prepared to spend that sort of money I shall just save for softstars . nath

They do indeedily look like cesaros. I still stand by my previous statement that they shouldn't fit unless he's got some form of hub adapter or spacer though as the centre bore on the vaux wheels is too small for a Scirocco.

Plus even if he did wedge them on they'd be totally the wrong offset! To 100% confirm it, wait for a warmer day and look at the castings on the inside of the spokes.

And ?100 with fcuked tyres is a ripoff :p

I'd buy them for ?100.

Bigstan's fetched ?200 without tyres I'm sure.

I've seen Cav GSi slabs on a mk2 Golf GTI before. Either they've machined (filed) out the centre bore in the wheel or used spacers. The offset of the Vauxhall wheel would make it sit quite far inwards on a Golf axle.

You'll need a 10mm spacer and (ideally) longer bolts to make a Gm wheel fit a VW iirc.
