Why does my SR sound like a tractor?

"Ive got a brand-new combine 'arvestr" but id rather have my SR bak.
on accelerating, mainly in low revs i get a chugging noise from the engine bay and if i push it, as i drop the revs, i get that "pop" sound that rally cars have :? Starting afta the manifold my whole exhaust system is like, 3 weeks old :roll: . Could it be the manifold?
Any help will be VERY much appreciated

timing could be out,
new plugs.
sh** leads.
not dont the zorst up proper,
mine used to do this buut i change me plugs and it sounds like a rally car now, :lol:

got new leads just afta the zorst and adjusted the plugz. Cheers anyway tho. True what u said tho, afta i got new leads it went like a fucking rocket (not a tractor) :roll:

Is the engine idling erratically?

Check spark plugs, dizzy cap - possible that one of them is dead.

Hold each ht lead in turn against engine block and look for a spark, if no spark then misfiring. check cap for cracks etc...

Worst case could be head gasket.. :(

How you gunna harvest your crops in an SR? Dont be so silly man. Stick with it. Just get some clear clusters and a couple of subs and you'll be mowing all day!

cheers loves. think probly i beta giv the nuts a good tightening on the zorst. if that doesnt work, i think i mite get a combine arvester actually, reckon it'll look ok on 19's with my nova janspeed backbox, tinted windows too :lol: NICE!!
