1600 8v oil pressure

the build manual suggests a 3mm shim on the pressure relief valve in the oil pump.
what pressure does this give during the idle @ 85degC (idle@ 85degC) (approx temp)?

Not sure but remember the build manual also says open the head oil feed to 3mm so it will probably be a bit less than std. Doesn't the relief valve affact high rpm not low rpm?

if iam correctly remembering, that oil hole only feeds the tappets (increased size was to try and stop the oil in the tappets foaming and loosing valve lift at high RPM) so i wouldnt have expecting the volume to change much.

the pressure relief will effect an over all increase in pressure regardless of RPMs.
