hi saw this mk1 Sr going tho my village today,
and he had his side lights on but not the main light the side lights were in the indercators,
how the hell do u do this?????
it look proper.

probably took the side light assembly from his main light unit and drilled a hole carefully into the indicator light ares (I presume they were clear indicators). The just shoved the side light in.
Could look pretty smart - wonder if it's ok on a MOT? spose he can just switch them back to the main ones when he takes it on...

Been there done that......

Not hard to do- i left them in the main units too- just added extra ones in the indicators. (changed all four bulbs to white LEDS too)
I know ste did this too ages ago, and Jay Troman also.

A bit different but along the same lines, when you put your side lights on with the engine running the normal lights come on half power as well, I looked under my dash and found what looked like a little amp, i disconnected it and now just my side lights come on, I was impressed at my electrical prowess  , If anyone else wants to do it , it is in the area of the bonnet pull, a little black box.
i wondered what that little box was. i thought it might be a bomb
