tip: if you tell endsleigh you are a student and don't have any mods they will insure you a lot cheaper as they afre part owned by the student union, of course this is not recommended unles you are a student, nudge nudge :wink: :wink: know what I mean :lol:

another tip... with Liverpool Victoria if you are a member of virtually any union (or your parents) eg: unison, T&G etc you can save upto 55% (quite a bloody lot) although they offer different discounts depending on what the union is.

shit the bed........just done a quick quote on liverpool victoria for a gte third party fire and theft and the price came out the same as what i pay third party only for my sr! any1 know if these quotes are realistic or will they shaft the price up when u ring????

If you have given them all the correct details then the quote should stand, another trick I have used, is to get the qoute then phone them up an hour latert and blag that you have had a cheaper quote and they will try and match it. :twisted:

Normally when I have been given a quote, they ask all the questions they would ask anyway except reg no. so they can give you an accurate quote.

i have tried most online quotes and have NEVER had a competitive quote, even with Adrian Flux who i have got my insurance with was about ?300 more online!!!

I managed to get a Motor Trade (road risks) Policy, by telling them i buy and sell mainly nova's, up to 4 cars a year, i said i tidy em up and sell em on. easy. Got a quote for 690 quid and covers me to drive

"Any motor Vehicle in the custody or controll of the insured or for which he is responsible but excluding Motor Cycles, steam driven vehicles, commercial vehicles with a GVW in excess of 7.5 tonnes, car transporters which inclusive of trailer are capable of carrying more than 2 vehicles"

saves changing ins every time you change your car, they even took in to account my 2 years NCB on my commercial vehicle policy.
