You cant.

You can fit a K&N bolt on filter, on the carb.

you can fit a bolt on filter, but on the cold days the 1.0l suffers bad carb icing.

i liked the engine sound of the 1.0L engine it was very smooth and economical for an old OHV engine. please remember this is a very old design engine and needs to be treated with respect.

changing the filter will add 0bhp.... wikkkkid. BUT on the other hand it will add pub horse power, which is always important

AGREED /\/\/\

honestly, don't waste your money. spend the wedge on a decent set of tyres & brakes. you may not be able to accelerate any quicker, but better cornering & shorter stopping distances will actually make it a lot quicker from a-b

Two major words of advice, don't bother! Build up your no-claims and get a bigger engine.

That much? I'd say it would add about -3bhp lol

If it's foggy and cold, provided the carb doesn't freeze up it might give 0.001HP.

something else carbed would be easier like a 1.2-1.4. you could do it in an evening all you will needs is a return line to the tank and some simple wire changes.

just pull the nozzle bit from the air filter it makes a better note and does the same differance as taking the air filter off.
