Alcohol 120% is pretty good on protected data cds, although I've never tried it on dvds yet.

Searched for a serial number for Any dvd?

This works and even an old person can use it. however it will have "backup" as the front screen (or similar) when you first put the copy into your dvd player.

dvd shrink is the best

but as all send there are various methods, dvd decrypter will remove all the copy protection without an issue you just need to shrink it down as normal DVDs are 8GB and the single layer disks are 4GB

DVD shrink or DVD Fab HDDecrypter or DVD Decrypter then DVD shrink on extracted files - in order of preference, or the order I would try them in at least. Never had a disc that got away.

save yourself that hassle and download an avi as its faster to download the avi than convert it!

for obscure films its faster to have them posted to you, rip them, back in the same day post and then get 2 more in a day ;) plus keeps the BB cheap and download limits safe for pr0n instead.

I've heard you can use AnyDVD to get round the protection and DVD2One to rip them..
