best bet... find your local college. And ask the "welding" tutor.

They will usually have someone who teaches welding/fabrication and generally they're **** hot.

Failing that, if you dont mind coming to lancaster im sure my friend would beable to do it or no doubt his old tutor will do it.

Aluminium welding is totally different to normal MiG welding! You'll find youll get better results from a TiG welder too :thumb:

DC Tig is used to weld aluminium. I will ask one of the blokes at work if you want?

yeh well rang a place down the road yesterday. the one mentioned above, they said they should be able to do it. but if not then i'll ask the garage i take my cars to, or have a word with you nick

might need my swirl pot doing aswell, if i do it properly i need to take of the old outlet and get a bigger diameter one welded in but not sure where id get that done yet as it more of fabrication sort of

yeh i was looking into get a tig but no job again to buy one, want to teach mself how to weld alloy at some point so i can do things like this and make myself tanks etc
