Dark grey sr side vinyl

Hi,

Im new to the site and have 2 nova's i have a 1.2 merit which has a 1.4 sr engine and a few sr mods, 16v brakes, strut braces and so on, and i have an original mint 1990 1.4 white sr with a little bit of rust on the doors, i want to get rid of the rust without buying new doors, but i don't know where to get a new dark grey vinyl from can anybody help with this or point me in the right direction.

Its not available from GM anymore. It was very expensive to source from Vauxhall/GM anyway. IIRc there was a couple people on here with it stashed away but they wanted top dollar for it. I would try a company called the vinyl corporation (they have a website) & see if they can help. Failing that see how much the FORD Escort or Rover equivalent stuff is.

Nice one for keeping the vinyl though.

Good stuff went on the vinyl corparation and they got the exact same vinyl for a couple of quid a meter, cheers for that craig.

Just be aware that'll increase the rust rate on the doors as the metal will "sweat" under it.

im going to get the doors rust free and weld new metal before the vinyl goes back on
