I just worked out my savings over 5 years over my current car.
At the moment(well in the summer and only in california) you can only rent the car for $600 so say ?300 just for the hell of it.

Apparently I save ?2889 over 5 years. I obviously have to rent the car for ?300 a month over 5 years to save that money. So I have to spend ?18,000 to save ?2889 oooookay
