Can someone please explain to me the fascination with chips and gravy? Someone at work was going on about it as if Jesus had turned wine and bread into chips and gravy :wtf:

Is it just a norvern thing or are there southerners who partake in this scandalous sacrilege against chips as well?

Saint Jamie obviously didn't wave his magic school dinners wand over your school then! Can't even get a fooking bag of crisps at the 'eat healthy' school I teach at.

But I digress, chips and gravy is acceptable when purchasing a box meal at KFC to distract you from the bland reality that is their 'chips'. On proper chips, its black pepper and mayo all the way.

Or chips and curry sauce... but it has to be from a chinese takeaway and not some crappy chip shop. I like my curry sauce to have a kick thanks.

Chips, cheese an gravy is where its at, truely amazing stuff. I dont know about anyone else but I cant eat dry chips, just cant do it. Maybe us Northern lot ( im midlands but you class that as north ) have to put up with chips that taste of **** and try to change the taste of them with other add ons. We dont have fancy stuuf up here like quails eggs and random fish poo thats sold for lots of money.

Ah gravy mix! Thats what its called round these parts. Gravy mix, pea mix, curry mix or bean mix.

Chips n cheese nan is bootiful aswell. Chips with grated cheese on top in a nan bread with ketchup, its the best.
