hi there all, just before xmas i went round an island and slid my beloved nova into the curb, ive dented the passenger side wing, could do with new bumper, grille, and i think it may need drive shaft or something,as it doesnt steer the engine starts and sounds fine, theres a small dent on roof, maybe where my mate hit he,s head. and think that may be it. now my problem is, do you think i should sell? or is it worth getting the whole lot sorted ,now ive been dyin to get a conversion or buy a 2.0 at this years vauxhall show, any suggestions? p.s will try put sum pics up soon thank s

il bet its just the lower wishbone has folded/bended. a new one will sort it. then get it tracked. that will be the easiest thing to do.
its only worth what someone would pay for it, especially being damaged
wether its worth repairing or not depends on how long you plan to keep it, wether you can do the work yourself or have to pay someone to repair it and the overall condition of the car, the door seems a different shade, the rear arches are starting to go etc

Either lower arm, front crossmember, strut bent or more likely a combination of all three. I have repaired one just as bad before with nothing more than a bloody big hammer and a length of fence post, but it was hard work.
if it was me i would fix it but thats me personly.
oh and i told you so.:p
not to be seen as picky, but roads have Kerbs....
a curb is a law banning something, like bad behaviour.
ps. get some bits from a scrapper & mend it, the devil you know is always better than the devil you don't know

one of my mates done the same and he needed a new tie rod, bottom arm, ball joint and also a new shock absorber. also had to get it put on a jig to straighten it out

No need for a jig tbh, the one I fixed with the hammer and some bits of wood got sent for a full body alignment check afterwards, everything was exactly to tollerence. We lined it up by eye! no measuring equipment came within 10 meters of it before it went to be checked.
i ahve all the aprts you need in my way at home you can have them for a drink !!!!
it can't be that well loved its pink man!!
