The corsa is coming back hopefully, going to slap on the standard management for a few weeks to hopefully get it to an event for redline all going to plan. Problem is ive been driving a 30bhp diesel, I get the feeling im going to be in for a bit of shock as its been well over half a year since ive driven it and the last time I did I well an truely burnt the brakes out lol
what happened to the corsa!? iv been away lol

pmsl, no thats not got enough power to break 60mph. The last few weeks it wont go past 3k in any gear or 60mph. I think the cooking oil really has set in on the bores lol

Toolage in the area of coil drivers, the fact that the ecu I had was from the stone age and need to be built to support wasted spark and other general programing head ****s.

I think you should reshell it into a nova.
Corsas are for girls and Baxter. ;)
Well i certainly didn't vote for "torque steer into a tree"
I think you should reshell it into a nova.

But Corsa's handle the power much better than nova's.....

find me a nova that hasnt rotten :p, corsa have more room in the engine bay and dont rot anywhere near as bad as novas. Novas too look better though.
you need a comabt kit phil lol ;)
And a Ford Motorsport sunstrip
lexus lights, one crome and one black tho or some of those 3d lights

they would fall off on the gear changes and make me look really cool
Need some Cobra stripes too.
I think your talk of torque steering into a tree will just be an excuse to cover up your attempt to upset some tree huggers lol

:D well got it running again this morning. All I can say is there has been something Ive missed for the last 6 months, an thats chronic wheelspin. Took it for a test drive down the back of the unit, all I got was laaaaaaaaaaag more lag and some more lag, then at about 5.5k all the power comes in at once. At that point its just wheel spin, wheel spin, limter. Soon as its comes on boost it goes straight to the limiter lol.
The 3 inch top hat an boost pipes ive fitted have made a hell of a big difference including mucho lag :(. Before the power delivery wasnt too harsh was rather linear or near enough, now its how a big turbo'd motor would normally be.
Had it on the rollers and its making some serious peak power with the new stuff fitted, im going to set the nitrous up again on it tomorrow and see what we get then.
It made 424bhp at the wheels off gas, from 2.5k - 5.5k its makes about 50-100bhp then at 5.5k its just goes stupid shoots up and is still pulling hard at the limiter. Shall get the graphs on tomorrow and hopefully get the nitrous to soften the power delivery out a tad, if not im not going to doing an fast times lol.
Whats the limiter set at?

what ever evo 5 chips are, around 7.2k ish thats why I need to sort out the megasquirt as up t 8.5k it would be much better.

Thats off gas, cant stop it spinning like a **** though :(. Been putting some tar on the rollers that gets really sticky when warm, so warm its pealing the rubber off the tyres but still its lifting up an spinning on boost.
Also played a little with the fueling an got it running slightly better.
The nitrous makes it pick up quite a bit better, not running as much as before as im making more power off gas now, although that might change when it doesnt do what I want it to lol.

nice.
Good to hear its alive again Phil! Not seen you ages!!
I've popped in a fair few times and Paul's updated me on your progress, and the nightmares with the Megasquirt!
Will have to pop down soon on a Saturday to have a chatter and a poke around the Corsa!
All the best mate, Rob.
