please dont do it, I really should when i have some free time bodge one onto the turbo an ram 500lb/ft of torque through one as proof they cant handle interstella power

haha good point few of my friends hav done it to 8valvesbut they crank has less holes in them so you can use a derv flywheel. im doing an xe convertion to a corsa does there hav to be any modifeying to the d/s chassis leg???

Don't forget the armour plating around the box if you do it Phil, on that engine I'd expect to see bits of gears coming clean through the bonnet/bulkhead!lol lol

The gearbox code gives away the amount of torque it will take before blowing up!! For example: An F13 will take 130Nm before dying under your ass. the XE will give 198Nm torque and there for is fitted with the F20(200Nm)
I have tried it with an F13 and at the first sprint ussing slicks the diff went flying throug the firewall!!

dont let stu see you say that lol

The clutch would transfer that kind of power anyway so my dreams of owning a piddly littl F13 are over.
