inlets on 1.4 sr

hi people i have a 1.4 sr i wanted to no if a 1.3 inlet will fitt a 1.2 head because im not sure about the difference in ports. and if i was to do this do i buy a head gasket set for a 1.2 or a 1.4

1.2 and 1.3 carb heads have the same ports.

i read a post somewhere and it explained that the 1.2 head produces too much compresion.:confused: does anyone no of this.thnx cheers micky14sr

I answered your question! lol

Head ports have no effect on compression.
Its the chamber size thats important.
And yeah, a 1200 head will up the compression.
