hi guys.
i was just wondering what camshafts were better, if anyone has tried both. the ast2 cam from kent. or the NOV for a 1.4. not to sure what numbers are after. i think its nov62. cheers
What 1.4 ?
The Nvo series are suited for injection purposes i do believe.

yes i was wrong. nvo are for injection. thanks anyway
the AST2 is a fantastic all round cam, good for moderate (or even extreme with the right build) tunes.
You can still use the NVO cams on the carb engine. It's just the profiles are quite alot different.
I went from an NVO52, which was great for driving around in e.t.c to an AST2. It's a little bit more of a pig - but i think that's down to my **** Carb Setup.
Im not sure what the 62 is... but i'd stick with the AST2. It's tried and tested
nvo62 is a 270deg cam iirc. Ok for injection engines.
