been searching through but cant decide what to go off.

now obviously gotta have a single v alternator.

so can the pulleys be swapped over??

but then i read it has to be the single v alternator used because of adjustment as you cant adjust the standard alternator with a v pulley?

so do i need to get the single v pulley alternator which i have, but then use a adjusting bracket to fix it on with.

the bracket i mean is the sloping l shaped one with the hole cut out.

you need the single V setup, the single v alternator lower+upper brackets, the single v alternator itself, the double v bottom pulley, a v belt (machined or ground down to a single v).

Nothing else required

If your engine came with a 'multi-V' setup on it originally, then you'll need the alternator ajustment bracket from an early XE.
