i had my petrol nova gsi converted to a diesel. when im filling up at the petrol station and put diesel in the car it wont allow the fuel to go in smoothly and keeps making the pump click as if its full. any ideas what could be causing this?

The filler neck doesnt like the diesel pump nozzle.

Or the ball in the bottom of the filler neck/claw is stuck.

Maybe someone like Baxter can confirm if these parts are diesel specific.

if i remember the tank is the same as a carb tank,

check the breather pipe on the filler neck

I had the same problem when i converted my SPi to an SR engine.

Changed the tank but the breather pipe was kinked and did exactly that.

Check all yer pipes mate.
