hi all been meaning to sign up for ages now so finally have

got a 1.4 sr built for db drag racing (spl soundoffs) and has no other possible use or purpose,,

its truely unique and i promise you have never seen one like it (internally or externally)... i would like to take credit for all the work but must confess i bought it ready built and am slowly making changes both inside and out...

some of you may well have seen it at shows though.....,

it is indeed gold, (well more a cat sick yellow), been opn tv and in the major tabloids with the previous owner a fair amount however about to be black, totally black

it was actually doing 171.7db's with the old system, the uk's loudest ever car... :D

im about to get the new kit which should see a large improvement, im aiming for a 3db increase over 2 years.

it is indeed a massive 4th order bandpass sub box, however it can be driven.. was recently able to manage second gear too lol. although it does weigh 3 tonnes it can still waddle along

the kit will cost me 80 quid a month to insure, the car isnt insured as no company knows where to start lol


martin there was a bright pink show one at perfomance vauxhall in 2005, scoring 137.0 iirc

any idea as to what mic it was tested on, the only 100% acurate in a car enviroment is a termlab.. the audio control can be 2db's out either way!

it was at donny07, i just asked a mate about it, it was 140bd, it didnt realy look road legal, all the windows was sound proofed bar the windscreen..

it was all the winders iirc, and it was on just before a escort van that the single wiper nearly cameof on lol.. and the guy didnt even put on hes head fones.. i'm sure its this nova.. and it was the 1st on at donninton iirc
