Ok heres my 1987 - 21year old RST, Very rust and crap!

Well Nows time for my engine to come out. Here goes. Stripdown time.

i needed to remove my cooler. rad, and other bits ready for the engine to be taken out, as iv had a few engine trobles.

and here we go

Then a little clean, Shows you how dirty BUT clean (rust wise) the car is.

Next was the Rad, and what a pain, balt at the bottem left hand side, and no way of getting toit, In the end i sorted it :lol:

So now its ready for being taking this monrning (Firday) and will see it back sat night as iv requested the shell back for,
Underseal. Engine bay clean, And few other goodies :P

Whys the engine coming out of it, you say enigne trouble, so rebuild time or?

Engine bay looked lovely and clean apart from the rather yellow header tank!

It was down on comprestion(sp) and i have had to get a new engine due to the bores being scored and also the turbo being ****ed. Alot of play so a new engine....

I own both. I've posted both on various ford sites... and the Nova goes down a treat. Partly because everyone isn't a retard like you ! Now, i may have got the wrong person (i apologise if so)... but your username rings a bell. You prooved yourself to be a stupid **** back then too !

Anyway... Nice RS. Personally more of a fan of the S1's but yours looks in fantastic condition !

iam pained by the fact that people take good quality clean rust free cars and violate them with redbull tins, un flattering mirrors, samco go faster blue hoses, chrome bits,K&N-scaredintofittingbreathemorehotairthanstandardairb oxfilters, non standered ICs and 4 eyed headlights. old cars should be kept in clean and std condition. in my opinions.

Nice motor mate, although the s2 RST isnt one of my faves, ive always had FRSTs mk1 2s and 3s and S1 rsts mainly.

As said, get rid of those mirrors, voodoos suit red ERSTs down to the ground
