Ashley exhaust system fitment

I have an 1.3 SR Nova and its fitted with an ashley exhaust system but the cut out where the old exhaust would poke through the ashley does not! Is it incorrectly fitted? and is there way to get it to come out the cut out?
I've tried twisting the pipes but you do it to much and the back box hits the rear spring!

Sounds like its a Mk2 system; does the tailpipe come out straight?

Yeh its comes stright out! it said on the website it was for the 1.3 sr nova 89 reg! but i was thinking of getting a gsi bodykit anyways, i just wanted to make it look nicer until then!

i had exactly the same problem with the magnex on my 89 sr,we had to cut off the tailpipe and re weld it in the correct position.
