odds on youve got oen of those super gay auto tensioners down the bottom of the belt. Easiest way to tell is rev the engine and see if it moves left and right.

either get a new one (sod that imho) or get a non auto tensioner belt and have the belt sit right all the time

Turn it over by hand about 8 times (4 times for the cam) & it should give you an idea if its gonna come off the pulley or not.

Has the cam pulley gone on straight?

i've had it running and it looks like it will stay on but still don't like the idea of driving it like that the belt sat like that when i bought it there is no tensioner
as it's the early sri 130 seh

looks like cam pulley is on back to frontwise. the protrusion on yours is inward pointing. mine is not. please check

Its making the pully sit too far out, meaning the belts running more on one edge.
