I might sound like a right muppet, but Im looking at silcone hose at the moment for an oil breather. Silcone hose that can 'take' oil is ?15 per metre (!)

Do I really need that or can I get the cheaper air/water version?

I guess the air one would be fine, but it may start breaking down over time.

My thoughts exactly, I'm just suprised by the price I guess. I only need about 250mm of 22mm and a mate need about 120mm of 10mm. I dont really want to go ordering the wrong stuff tho.

Its fluro lined to resist oil nasties..

Stop being a snob & use cheaper black rubber!

I dont mind having rubber, but my mate did a few favours in return for some silcone beather hose.

PS where do you buy rubber hose?

When? Tuesdays... :D

Or do you mean where?

No idea. Usually use scraps of old coolant hose etc.

Most motor factors sell common sizes.
10/15mm ID etc.
