thanks everyone, i'm getting the idea that you all think i should get a GTE. But what about a GSI,what are the differences, performance, build quality, styling, insurance, again, help would be much appreciated, cheers in advance.

Mk 2 dash is a lot nicer (&quieter), Think they have lekky windows as standard but I`m not sure. Better ignition system (Multec), so it`ll be faster than a gte if you de-cat it. Probably more on insurance as it is newer, therefore more nickable!

No, GSI is almost the same on insurance and less on petrol I think!

Same on insurance, just as quick really and looks a bit more modern inside and out... I like 'em :)
