1.6 8v exhaust

I have a 1.6 gsi . with out a lamber sensor, need a new down pipes as mine the clamp bracket has rusted away, and now rattels. i know a lot of you guys run ashley 4 to 1 but just asking to see if there is a better manafold to use. only asking as i know race car use a 4 to 2 to 1 system thats all. i dont really plan to do much else to the engine and whilt im going to end up paying about ?40 for a new down pipe i'm just cheacking to find if there a better opion for about ?100 or so.
if you knwo what i mean.
and befopre some one says it i have used the search.

i purchased a grp a designed system on my gte... 4-1 manifold and 2 box 2" system. cant rate it enough...
