Heat gun and scraper to get the majority of it off then brush nitromors (not sure if i've spelt that right) onto the floor and just wipe the remenants off, this also has the benefit of stripping it back down to bare metal so you can see the floor in total detail.

yeah, cheers, its to do all the front and rear aches so i can see if theres any welding that needs doing and i can also strenthen it etc..

Yeh in that case the nitromors is the best idea as you'll be able to get it into all the little nooks and crannies plus it'll make the welding alot easier

when I was removing the sound deadening from my front arch sections I used a wire attachment for me drill - dead messy but worked a treat and really quick. Diditn damage/warp the panels either... (heat and all that)
