Today sees the start of a mamouth project!

Project gsi kicks off with me taking me car off the road for 5 weeks and totally changing it to a gsi (except engine). heres the spec -

full derust and respray in carmine red (2 pak) :twisted:
complete gsi interior including carpets
complete retrim of interior (possibly including roof!)
new custom centre console
electric windows (central locking already fitted)
delocking doors
new sound system (infinity 6x9 300w off dragster amp , kenwood 140w 2way of kenwood head with 6 disc auto changer)
new mim custom 5 spoke alloys 195/50/15"
cleaning engine bay and polishing rocker cover
new rear shelf
gsi side skirts
gsi spoiler
gsi bumpers
seat ibiza gti splitter on front and nova GTE flick splitter on rear
oval side repeaters
(possibly) fog lamps
air horns
tinted windows
bee sting ariel
new dash dials (custom made for 1.2 by me!)
new back box
and a few other bits - oh and not forgetting the novaload stickers!

5 weeks... :o

watch out for my website in september showing what I did and how I did it! (that's if I do do it of course - touching as much wood as possible at this moment !!!)

oh yes - got me new digital camera (courtesy of me work after some t wat broke me other one) and 128mb smart card so can take good quality ones. keep yer eyes out for updates

yep - air horns - got 2 sets (although prob only fit one set!) One of the sets a m8 gave me free yesterday off his wrecked nova - they came off a volvo truck!!! :o

Ade, check the air horns arnt 24 volt, cos iv tried swiping the works unit air horns, but theyr 24v not 12v!

all checked - 12v. still have the ringing in my head from testing them to prove it! :o :o
