rear strut brace

which way should it face? i got the 1 with a bend, should it point out backwards or point inwards?

Not seen a rear strut brace with a bend before, any pics?

It would make sense for it sit with bend facing the boot, as If you had rear seats these would not sit back properly if the bend was the otherway.
