well after much thought i have decided that i might have to sell my much loved GTE! :(
so here goes
black 1.6 GTE in good condition, 7months MOT and tax till end of feb.98,898k
just had an oil and filter change, new clutch cable, recent rocker cover change when the kent fast road cam went in, if it turns up the blydenstein stage 1 airbox will go with it, pipercross panel filter, full rally pipe onto janspeed backbox - sounds good, on idle it runs lumpy because of the cams - sounds like a drag car lol. its colour coded on the bumpers, grille, spoiler and mirrors. it had a new coil, module and plugs when i first got her around 5month ago. clear indicators, chrome locking fuel cap, lowered 40mm although i believe it to be more like 30mm!
bad bits:
rear arches have a slight bit of rust on them but nothing major at all
passenger door has a tiny bit of rust on the very bottom but again not much
handbrake cable has just snapped when i took the photos
sometimes the throttle gets stuck at around 1600rpm but this will be sorted
this car has never let me down apart from when the connection came off the fuel pump. its always run fantasticly with no major problems at all. it is running around 125 bhp was going to get it rolling roaded but never got round to it.
when i got the car it had been sat in a garage for nearly 2 years yet it still started up first time and ran like a dream. i had to get the front strut welded as it had a little bit of a hole and under the rear of the passenger side arch it needed a small amount of welding too.
