i wont bore you with all details but basically i found a car forsale which i really want, now it has no tax atm and the chaps in manchester but he said he wont tax it incase i say im not gunna have it so to speak but he rekons he can write me a reciept and it will be ok if i get pulled. is he talking ****e ?

do it on the day!

Get them to come on a weekday or early sat morning and buy it with him

Its illegal to drive without tax and a fine is applicable no matter

only certain people can read in in the club chat. would it be legal if i taxed it over the internet and printed the reciept does anyone know ?

LMFAO I thought i had deja vu then as well

As said, leave him a deposit to show you're interested, then sort out the tax/insurance. He could even use your deposit money to tax it - if you then decide you don't want the car, he's got some free tax which will make a sale easier.
