I have painted my brake calipers in red vht paint, the finish on it is really bad & hard to get dirt off, can i lacquer them or anything as theyre going to be impossible to keep clean! What does everybody else do? thanks

Its because vht is a "dry" matt finish. So dirt will eat into it.
Hammerite works best as its very hard wearing.
