As said, please type PROPERLY and we'll all get along fine :)

AN engineers report is fairly simple to aquire from a workshop, or alternatively, just stating the conversion was done by the previous owner can work if you havent insured the car before the convesrion yourself. Only really a good idea if your confident with the spanners and are 100% confident what you've done is safe.

You MUST declare all modifications in your insurance, or you could end up being royally reamed after an accident, and all reamings contribute to pushing up the cost of insuring modified novas.

sorry im new to this site as you can tell.
yeah i am a mechanic so im over confident with the tool thats the easy part i was just unsure how to go about the insurance of the car because obviously id need to declare every thing because i cant pass a redtop off with a 1.2 he he.
yeah i already drive the car it has a 1.4 sr in it but like i say i have read up on the redtop root and i want to go down that road but dont want to modify a car that i cant insure if that makes sense??

again sorry for the text typing :(

So it not ok to try and pass a 1.2 off as a red top but you seam to be passing off a 1.4 as a 1.2 by what you have said.
