Bonnet

If i fit a extended (badboy) bonnet to my nova how do you relese the safety catch on the bonnet as you wont be able to reach it?

Cut a small square from the grill where your fingers will puch the catch up. Also adjust the spring bolt thing that holds the bonnet down & they release easily really.

or weld/fabricate an extension

i removed it and had bonnet pins instead.kept the normal pul one too so its still secure.

as above - thats what I'm doing. However my extension is a fair bit further out than the bad boy one so I'm also drilling a small hole in the handle of the bonnet release catch and connecting a pully system to it so after releasing the bonnet pins I can pull a hidden cord to release the catch...

i put a boot solonide (if thats how you spell it ) in on mine with just a little button in side the wing worked a treat no cutting involved !
