Magum motorsport do one but im not sure its much of a looker
as you can see from the bottom piccy its got a laywer of chop strand matting (GRP) under the carbon layer..... menaing its probalby the same weight as a std bonnet.
Most of the carbon bonnets for novas (and thats not many) are made in the same way where peopel put a single layer of carbon down and then back it up with GRP as its cheaper/easier to work with. In short a waste of time for a performance gain, and if you are after the look then just pay someone to pray it to look like carbon (easy to the pros)

tehy charge ?395 fot that bonnet it must be lighter than a normal one ?
of course, thats it..... a bonnet that costs nearly ?400 MUST be lighter :wall:
a layer of carbon + a load of chop strand GRP isnt going to be notably lighter.

Just get a fibreglass one and paint it the same colour as the car

any one know where fibreglass ones are for sale ?
or if there is a real full carbon bonnet for sale
I do believe David dixon has one on his nova..... he can also have numerous carbon bits made up to order, Im sure hes on here unsure of his username though? Maybe try JOV as I know hes definatly on there, Nick.

We've just started to do carbon bonnets! And we make them properly, by resin infusion and vacuum bagging.
Please PM, email or call for more info :)
